The SHAPE Career Assessment® is owned by Dr. Candace Steele Flippin, LLC and offered through the Global Career Advancement Institute (Global CAI).

Through the SHAPE Career Assessment®, the Global CAI equips certified practitioners with actionable strategies to help clients overcome challenges, build career self-efficacy, and achieve their professional goals.

This certification program is designed to integrate seamlessly into your coaching practice, providing you with tools to better support your clients. We offer one full day and two-half options. After the training you are prepared to take the exam right away. The estimated time commitment is 10 to 12 hours.

The process begins with you taking the SHAPE Career Assessment to experience its impact firsthand, followed by a one-on-one debrief session to deepen your understanding of the results. Next, participate in an interactive, one-day, in-person training designed to equip you with practical techniques to implement the assessment effectively. Finally, complete the program by passing an exam to earn your certification.

With a flexible structure, you can progress through the steps at a pace that works for you and your professional goals. 

This program is ideal for career coaches, executive coaches, HR professionals, consultants, and training leaders who want to deliver impactful career strategies.

The certification does not expire, but practitioners are encouraged to participate in periodic updates and refresher sessions offered by the Global Career Advancement Institute to stay current with the latest research and best practices.

Attendance Policy

Attendance at all course sessions is essential to meeting certification requirements. If you cannot attend due to illness or an emergency, contact your instructor immediately at [email protected].

Participants must review missed session materials and may need to complete additional sessions at their own expense if absences exceed allowable hours.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

 • Be punctual and prepared for all sessions.

 • Attend all live sessions and mentor coaching sessions.

 • Engage respectfully and professionally with peers and instructors.

 • Embrace diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment of respect for all participants.

Disruptive behaviors and failing to engage negatively impact the learning experience are discouraged.

Grievance Policy

Global CAI seeks to resolve grievances in a timely and equitable manner. Participants may file grievances related to course content, facilities, or staff behavior as follows:

 1. Attempt to resolve the issue directly with the involved party.

 2. If unresolved, submit a written grievance within 14 days to [email protected].

 3. If unsatisfied, submit a written appeal with the original grievance and reasons for dissatisfaction. Appeals will be reviewed, and a final decision will be provided within 14 days.

Illness Policy

If you are unable to attend due to illness, contact your instructor immediately at [email protected]. Missed materials must be reviewed, and extended absences may require individual sessions at the participant’s expense.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Global CAI prohibits discrimination in recruitment, hiring, program participation, and all interactions based on race, age, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, or veteran status. Reports of discrimination or harassment will be promptly investigated according to our grievance policy.

Partial Completion Policy

Participants may request credit for partial course completion by submitting a written request to [email protected] within 14 days after the course ends. Approved requests will result in a certificate reflecting completed hours.

Participation Policy

Participants in the SHAPE Career Assessment Certification Program are expected to:

 • Attend all sessions on time.

 • Engage actively in discussions and activities.

 • Follow the Code of Conduct.

Failure to meet participation expectations may result in additional requirements or loss of certification eligibility.

Payment/Fees Policy

Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Payments are accepted via electronic payments via ACH, check, and most major credit cards in USD.

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made at least 10 business days before the program’s start are eligible for a full refund. Requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

Statement on Ethics, Integrity, and Transparency

The Global CAI adheres to the highest ethical standards, prioritizing integrity and transparency in all operations. We ensure ethical sales practices, fair pricing, and a commitment to creating a respectful and professional learning environment.

Transfer of Credit Policy

The Global CAI does not accept partial credit from other organizations or programs for the SHAPE Career Assessment Certification Program. Participants must complete the entire program to earn certification.
